Assignments for Week ending February 15, 2008 Monday – TCAP Readiness #7, Review Solving Systems using Elimination, workbook pg 88 #1-10, Homework pg 356 # 2-28 evens Tuesday - Review inequalities and the number line graph, review open and closed circles and their meanings. Introduce linear inequalities. Graphing dashed and solid lines and shading appropriate areas. Teacher guided practice. Use colored Pencils and graph paper. Homework pg 373 # 2-22 evens Wednesday - TCAP Readiness #8 , review linear inequalities, classwork workbook pg 92 # 1-15 Thursday – Introduce systems of inequalities, practice graphing the lines together and finding the solution area. Use colored pencils to shade and find the union. Homework pg 380 #2-18 evens only Friday - TCAP Readiness #9, review systems, workbook pg 94 #1-12

Parents if you have not bought your child a calculator, please do so. Algebra I students would greatly benefit from a TI84. They are expensive, but will last your child through college.
Also, please make sure that your child has graph paper. We use a lot of it and some still do not have their own supply. |
