Franklin County, TN School Board District Representatives
The Franklin County Board of Education consists of eight district representatives. Regularly scheduled Board meetings are on the second Thursday of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Central Office located at 215 South College Street. | 2nd District | Wendy Moore Wendy Moore is a graduate of Franklin County High School and was elected to her first term on the Franklin County School Board in 2000. She earned her master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee. She serves as the Chairman for Franklin County and is recognized by the state association as a Level V board member. Wendy is married to Paul Stevens and they have three children attending Franklin County schools. wendy@edge.net |

| 5th District | Steve Ford Steve Ford is manager of his wife's family farm and also teaches economics part-time at the University of the South. He was a professor of agricultural economics at Penn State University before moving to Sewanee in 1999, and has a Ph.D. in agricultural and applied economics from the University of Minnesota. He writes monthly columns on farm issues for Southern Farmer and Farm Futures magazines and is on the board of directors of the National Center for Food and Agricultural Policy. He is an active volunteer at his church where he serves on the worship committee and vestry. Steve spends the rest of his time with his wife and two young children.

| 6th District | John Page Board Member John Page was born in 1955 in Coffee County Tennessee. John moved to Franklin County with his family in 1961. John attended Mary Sharp School, Clark Memorial School, South Junior High and Graduated from Franklin County High School in 1974. John holds a bachelor degree in elementary education. John attended Motlow State Community College, University of the South, University of Tennessee Knoxville and Tennessee Tech. John is employed at the Arnold Engineering and Development Center for 22 years. John is a certified Emergency Medical Technician and is a graduate of the Tennessee Law enforcement Training Academy. John was elected to the Franklin County School Board in 2000 and received level 5 master school board member from the Tennessee School Board Association in 2004. John has held the titles of Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Franklin County Board of Education. John is very active in his church and community services. John is married to Cheryl Page and they have 2 children attending the Franklin County School System.
